Here, kitty, kitty

Our little kitten Jerome is always trying to get outside. During the day, when we are home, this is fine. In fact it's really entertaining to watch him try to catch grasshoppers. But at dusk, we keep him safely indoors where predators like this



can't get to him. This bobcat was hanging out around the edge of the woods Sunday evening. Apparently he wanted to know if Jerome could come out and play, but we all know what he REALLY wanted to do with Jerome.

We are trying to keep the grass seed moist so it will grow and someday feed sheep, but with all these predators around (bobcats, coyotes, owl, bald eagles), I'm afraid the sheep will be feeding something else!
