Happy Anniversary!

One year ago today Damian left Boston and moved to Maine for good. The remaining weeks of May 2004 included much cold rain and wood-replacement epoxy for him and much gardening and packing for me; I was still in Boston.

Now, one year later, the house is nearly finished. This weekend we painted the first coat of the dining room's midnight blue woodwork and it looks beautiful, like an old colonial room should. All that really remains is cleaning and painting! (And a little more carpentry in the back staircase.)
